Okay, this I have to admit. I have lost interest in watching American Idol since Jasmine Trias (Season 3) got eliminated years, years back. I thought Fantasia Barrino sounds like Le Donald (the Duck, not the Trump), Carrie Underwood's win was so predictable, and Hicks' winning was just, er, so not Idol-worthy.
So, last last week, while I was having my night duty in the Cardiovascular Unit ward, between the wee hours of 2 and 3 in the morning. I entered room 2003 (vacant as of the time being), and watched the latest Idol season, and boy, oh boy, I was in for a big surprise.
Like hello, who could not *not watch this very gorgeous, talented, young boy.
I could just eat this guy. (Too bad, he didn't make it to the top 24).
And oops, it doesn't stop there. Here, watch my *other guy:

@CEDEUX: Okay lang yun, look at what happened to Jennifer Hudson. I think she got eliminated during Fantasia's season and look at where she is right now. She's freaking celebrity!
@LYZA: The blonde guy, who also happened to be my future lover, was Josiah Leming. He sang Mika's Grace Kelly, which he rendered "spectacular-ly." His final audition piece however, was his let down. Sayang!
~I'm hoping Ramiele will make it atleast for the top 6.

guess its too early for such predictions, but probably this season has its best.
I agree Jasmine's lost was a bit frustrating, while Carrie is really predictable, but then she's into the real industry having those fame with Kelly... then Taylor? I dunno but where is he now? and Jordin, she didn't really have those hits.
Anyways Josiah is such a cutie, he's young yet he has thsoe early teenage fears when it comes to performing, yew kno what I mean.

Josiah was a drama queen kasi kaya natanggal. ninerbiyos. hehe. yeah, undeniably talented but I guess he overdid the last number. Too bad.
My bets for this season:
Archuleta/Michael Johns/Carly Smithson/Ramiele Malubay. I was rooting for one contestant sana pero di nakasali. Heehee.

Unlike everyone I know, I just don't get the amazement towards David Archuleta. Needless to say, he has pipes and he can definitely blow and deliver. However, I don't know if it's me or whatever, something lacks in his ability of interpreting the song. I think he's a flat out vanilla type of performer.
